Letter informing Henry VIII of his longed-for son's birth is found after 469 years in stately home. The letter, written by Jane Seymour in 1543 announcing the birth of the future King Edward VI was found carefully preserved on a shelf in the picture store room at Dunham Massey estate in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
