Civil War Medical and Surgical Instruments. Stop by the downtown MIshawaka Library on Thursday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. Travis Childs, Director of School Programs for the Northern Indiana Center for History, will speak on the use of medicine during the Civil War and its influence. The talk is part of the American Heritage Roundtable series held monthly at the library.
robfromamersfoort (33 months ago | reply) It is indeed shot in 1855 (or maybe 1854). This is Mrs Rogers, a nurse during the Crimean War (like Florence Nightingale). She was the wife of a soldier, and she was nursing, washing and cooking under severe circumstances.
