These meringues can be baked three days ahead. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature. Make meringue bones using one continuous motion: Begin by piping a horizontal S shape at top. Continue piping meringue downward in a straight line to form the middle of the bone. Finish by making another horizontal S shape at the bottom. Repeat until all of the meringue is used up.

How cute would it be to make these for an archeologist themed kids party? You could make "dirt" (chocolate pudding with crushed Oreos) in individual cups and then set one of these bones on top of each! Oh man, I need a kid!

FREE PRINTABLES! I love love love this idea for my son's birthday party since he was born on Halloween!

Totally going to make this recipe for individual sized pumpkin pies in my PC square Brownie Pan!

Use breadstick dough (store bought or homemade) and cut into strips. Use scissors to snip the ends into 2 pieces and roll them down to make the bone shape. Dip in “bloody” marinara! For extra flavor sprinkle with garlic and Parmesan or this seasoning.
