Donald Judd's 15 Untitled Works in Concrete (photo by Cameron Davidson), Chinati Foundation | Marfa

Living in Marfa you are surrounded by Donald Judd. These looked like a highway culvert project to me (and to most locals). Then I would see antelope run through could walk down the hill and depending on the grouping hear echos or see focal points through them. Once I saw them with the mountains in the background and it appeared the artist mimicked the mountains with the perspective of the different angles of these man-made forms. I thought them beautiful after that!
