Pam and I have visited Portland a couple times and found it delightful (we could see ourselves retiring there). The downtown is very pedestrian friendly, so we might be able to go without a car.

I have always wondered who it is that names street signs and how they come up with the names. To challenge myself in the art of very simple creative conjuring, I want to come up with new names for all of the streets that I pass in the next few weeks. Any name I have seen before is taboo. In this way, I will explore new levels of determination and will break through new barriers of my imagination.
