For soap scum and water spots on glass doors, use equal parts of hot vinegar and Dawn dish soap in spray bottle. Just spray it on, scrub, rinse and be amazed. Allow it to sit overnight for stubborn stains and scrub with a dryer sheet or magic eraser.

The Best Way to Clean Your Bathtub- 20 Mule Team Borax.This is the stuff. That stubborn dirt and grime, just melted away when faced with borax and a stiff-bristled scrub brush.

I've done this and it's really not hard but...you do need another set of hands to hold the light or ceiling fan up.. it's too heavy to hold and handle the wires too.
