cell phone partners-each child selects 10 names to put on a speed dial number. When you need a partner, teacher calls out a number and they check the speed dial to see who their partner is this time.

Chit chat chart- pull a square of the chart when a child is talking while the teacher is talking. If all 3 are pulled lose time at recess...............good for a chatty class

Quick and easy! Then, during parent/teacher conferences, just pull out the notecard and share your observations.

Dry erase circles. Who knew? They save me SO much instructional time during the day because I don't have to take time to hand out boards and markers then take them up. I keep a bucket at each table with markers and baby socks and the students get them out when we are working.
