New arrival: Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell

I just finished this one, wow!

Take a running barefoot boy, a hulking bully, a new kid in town and mix with Carl Hiaasen's love of both Florida and the weird, and you get his young adult book, Hoot. Odd, touching, and lighter than his normal work, this is still a compelling book. A very good read.

Oh, this book! Funny and insightful a good "what if" about Jesus in his teen years. A definite worth the read for religious and atheist alike!

Seeing someone reading a book you love is seeing a book recommend a person

A fun suspense that makes you feel like you have the same brain power as Robert Langdon.

I've heard people challenging the notion that this book is Science Fiction. If it's not, then it deserves it's own genre. It was so good and so different in so many ways.

The Fault in Our Stars & other novels by John Green. My new favorite author--Green finds a way to add SO much witty humor into the plot. I will never forget the times when I had to put the book down & laugh for a good 2 minutes--it was just that great. Another recommendation: Jason Myers. Myers's writing is just as awesome & inspiring, but plot tends to be darker--sex, drugs, etc.
