I started out with a trip to Home Depot. These 4x4 tiles were only 19 cents each! It doesn't get much cheaper than that! And I bought a package of 72 felt mounting circles for about Not too shabby!

Such a great step by step tutorial. Using the Epoxy Resin gave the coasters such a professional finish! Just in time for Mother's Day too.

Coasters! Cool idea! I've seen this done with black and white photos...with the photo transferred directly onto the tile. Make sure to SEAL it...5 coats of Krylon Acrylic Clear Coat..worked perfectly!
