stone cottages pictures | Fairytale Cottages . . . Once Upon A Time...

  • Vonnie Davis

Oozing with charm, this English cottage is Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, Hansel and Gretel, AND Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs . . .all rolled into one! In addition to its idyllic wooded setting, everything from the irregular stonework on the walls and chimney, to the varying roof lines with clipped gables, to the tiny diamond-pane windows and clay chimney pots, screams FAIRYTALE COTTAGE!

Once upon a time.... Another of Hugh Comstock's wonderful fairytale cottages. Carmel, California.

The Fairytale Cottages of Carmel I found this cottage behind a low stone wall and hidden by foliage. In the distance I could hear singing . It sounded like "Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho It's home from work we go."

Lovely little cottage! Could see myself creating many wonderful pieces of art here!
