. It’s just a regular braid, but instead of taking 3 equal sized pieces like you do in a normal braid, you just make one piece smaller than the other 2.

Do It Yourself Hair Ideas : theBERRY

I love the idea of doing this to my hair, but I have two problems: 1, what the heck do you do in step 5? Seriously, what? and 2, I really don't understand how to work bobby pins. This is why I'm afraid that I'll show up to my friend's wedding with my hair in a ponytail because I don't know what else I can do with it.

If I could get my girls to sit long enough upside down! French plait and bun. Put your head down and brush hair forward. Add product to root to start off plait more easily. French plait bottom up until you get to where you want the bun. Secure the plait with a hair tie. Gather all your hair into a high ponytail and check it in the mirror. Pin as a bun

Quick bun and braid hair-do. This would be great for shows so my hair won't be flying all over the place. :)

Ok so this was the style I chose to do for Mel for ballet last weekend, OMGosh! BEAUTIFUL! I added a large jeweled clip and it was to die for! I will be doing this all the time! One of my favorites and CRAZY easy to do!!! Best part is, you cant mess it up! Messy makes this style even cuter!!!! Must try it ladies! COPIED TEXT ( I wish I was this talented with hair :/ )

Start this like a regular braid, but drop the top piece through to the bottom and leave it there. Gently twist the 2 pieces you’re left with upward. Add a new 3rd piece in between + drop it through. Twist again and repeat. Keep going until you get to the back. Tie it with a clear elastic, tuck the end under, and secure with a bobbypin.

Perfect for the summer! ♥ "In a regular braid there are 3 strands. For this look, all you do is braid one of those strands beforehand and loosen it up with your fingers, then braid as usual. This creates extra texture + breaks up the mundane pattern of a regular braid."
