This doesn't work. The best way, really is (1) older eggs, or (2) after cooking, crack them a bit and let them sit in cold water for 10 minutes or so. Try and make sure the little membrane is a bit broken. The water will seep between the membrane/shell and egg and they will peel easily. I didn't believe it would work, but it does! yay!

I don’t know about you, but I judge perfect hard boiled eggs on two things… NO green ring and EASY to peel. It is easier to achieve both of those things than you make think!

how to boil and peel an egg Cover eggs with cold water and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Bring to a gentle simmer. Cook at the gentle simmer for 8 minutes. Drain and transfer to a bowl filled with cold water. Allow to cool. Bang each end on a hard surface to crack. Remove a little circle of shell from each end. Put your mouth to one hole and blow really hard or gently peel.

Its always good to know how to boil eggs perfectly....deviled eggs anyone??;)

Provides two ways of preparing hard-boiled eggs-one way is by not boiling them at all! I can never seem to boil eggs correctly, so I tried the second option of baking them in the oven and they turned out PERFECTLY. Baked at 325 for 30 minutes and just filled my sink with cold tap water and let them soak in there...without the "pinch of salt." Totally not necessary.

baked hard "boiled" egg. Might have to try this one since I have a hard time boiling eggs.
