Milky Wave is a part of a larger project by Aidia Architectural Studio where they attempt to "re-puzzle the urban scale through the re-presentation of its smaller components". This installation, comprised of thousands of recycled glass yogurt jars native to the city of Beijing, is a wonderful example of re-use in the most unexpected and beautiful way. (Originally for Beijing Design Week)

'milkywave' - Aidia Studios - 1,664 reused ceramic yoghurt pots. When it comes to finishing off a yogurt there are three types of people in this world – spoon-scrapers, pot-lickers or just the plain yogurt-wasters. Beijing’s Design festival.
