I love this idea. Start a savings shadow box with a picture of what they're saving for. This would also be cool for the kids, to teach them to save for something.

Great end-of-school-year gift for kids. Attached the packets of Kool-Aid to a water bottle that came with a Krazy straw. It read "Have a Kool and Krazy summer!" They were a hit!
