Homemade window cleaner Here's what you need: 1 Empty Windex Spray Bottle 1/8 Cup (1oz) White Ammonia 1/4 Cup (4oz) Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol 1 Drop Laundry Detergent Water - To Fill The Bottle
To shine up your kitchen: Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price~I have loved it and use it on my appliances as well. \
DIY Glass Cleaner (I use it as All Purpose cleaner). 3:1 Water with Vinegar. I've been using this as an all purpose cleaner for months now...on counters, toilets, mirrors, etc. It's non-toxic. Contrary to what this blogger writes, I found that a little peppermint essential oil masks the vinegar smell completely (give it a few hours to permeate). Plus, peppermint oil deters spiders - bonus!!
WINDOW CLEANER, 1 cup water, 2 T. vinegar, 2 T. 99% rubbing alcohol, 1-1/2 t. cornstarch. Mix all ingredients into spray bottle, shake, spray, wipe with cloth or paper towel. (Shake bottle every time before spraying - cornstarch settles at bottom).
