009. Karin & Wolfgang Pohl: "I entered the fascinating world of enameling some 30 years ago in Vienna, Austria, training with famous artist Eva Scherer as an apprentice. I believe in the validity of realistic expression, the true way, for me, to capture the soul and beauty of all of earth creations. My expressions and observations of animal and human portraiture as well as landscapes are inspired by our travels to many places throughout the world." G Post Photos www.kpenamel.webs.com

047. Marianne Hunter: "I see the enamels, metals, stones and other materials as instruments in concert. The image in enamel is the melodic theme, underscored and embellished by finely detailed fabricated metalwork. The other materials, from diamonds to feathers to fossils, are used as counterpoint to the enamel’s theme. The orchestration of the finished work is balanced so the melody is compelling and the supporting variations are unifying." G. Post Photos. www.hunter-studios.com
132. Wolfgang Vaatz: "The inspiration for my art comes from the natural landscape, such as the colors and shapes of the waves of the ocean, light piercing clouds, or mountains at sunsets. Images like these are reflected in an abstract composition and are often present in a stone. With my jewelry I find I have a medium where I can explore abstraction without loosing the feel of the inspiration." www.wolfgangvaatz.com
Rare Big Hanova of Pasadena Enamel Green Birds Casserole
Rare. Great enamel on steel casserole, in the highly collectible stylized bird line, designed in the late sixties by Charles Chaney for Hanova of Pasadena. Olive green on white, green lid and inside. Unmarked. 13"1/2 diameter at the largest point. 7" to the lid. Excellent vintage condition. I believe this piece has never been used to cook anything, only displayed. The enamel is shiny and the colors beautiful, the under side is like new. One tiny chip on the inside lip of the lid, another on the outside of the lip of the casserole. No rust. The inside is very clean as well. Really nice. Careful wrapping and shipping with USPS Priority Mail. Includes insurance and tracking. The shipping might be high because this piece is pretty fragile and heavy. I will refund any overcharged shipping cost. If you wish to order several items, please contact me for adjusted combined shipping cost. For international inquiries, please contact me. I will gladly reserve any item for 4 days. I always try my very best to describe each object, noting any flaws that I may find. All of the items are vintage, previously owned and used.
