Amadeus (1984) Highly fictionalized story of Wolfgang(Wolfie) Amadeus Mozart. Nominated for 11 Academy Awards and won 8. Said to be a drama, I fail to see that aspect of the film amidst all the frivolity. To me it should, at best, be watched and remembered as a light-heart comedy. With all that being said, I still enjoyed this movie and have watched it several times.

Amadeus: An interesting portrayal of the life of Mozart. If you like classical music. you will love this. The rendition of Don Giovanni is one of the highlights of the movie. F. Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce give unforgettable performances.

I watched this again after many years and still loved the casting, music and costumes. Somehow missed that Twyla Tharp did the choreography so paid close attention this time around. Always a fan of her staging.

Dune by Frank Herbert, read by some guy with the requisite British accent. So great, atmospheric and engrossing. You forget you're driving through miles of suburbia and instead you are immersed in the story of young Paul Atreides and the desert planet of Arrakis. Call me a nerd, I dare you, you Harkonnen dog!
