Here are your ingredients for Homemade Face Toner: * distilled water * vinegar * witch hazel Mix equal parts distilled water, vinegar, and witch hazel. I mixed about 2 tablespoons of each and it was too much for one application. You could mix up a little extra and keep it for a few more uses if you are so inclined. DIY Toner-- I went through my fair share of brassiness earlier this summer and tried every toner under the sun, this one was easily my favorite because it makes your hair incredibly shiny, it’s very effective at cutting the orange/yellow PLUS it’s really cheap
apparently using apple cider vinegar as a toner to treat blemishes is a great, cheap solution. dilute the ACV to 3 parts water, 1 part ACV. though it may vary according to your skin type. supposedly it helps even out your skin and clear acne. even those stubborn acne spots that never go away long after the pimple is gone.
DIY Brightening Skin Toner: 1/2 cup Lemon Juice, 1 cup Water, 2/3 cup Witch Hazel. To calm red, irritated skin, add a few drop of Lavender Essential Oil. (1) Cleanse skin. (2) Apply toner with cotton pad, sweeping upward and outward over face and neck. Do not rinse. (3) Apply sunscreen. *** Witch hazel tightens pores and reduces inflammation. Lemon juice reduces pores and lightens red/dark spots.
