-something I am going to have to try when I have kids. "Book holder for the car :) The pockets were cut to 8x9in. with a felt backing. I made all 4 pockets, then topstitched them onto a 11x30in solid panel of felt (front and back) that was sewn top and sides. I overlapped the pockets about 3 inches. Inserted a piece of cardboard into the solid panel and then finished the last side. Add straps, and done!"

Travel Book Storage. Great idea for a road trip with kids! Materials: scraps of fabric (I used 6 coordinating-ish fabrics), interfacing or fusible fleece, ribbon and embellishments (optional), sewing machine, thread, cutting mat and rotary cutter.

A bookshelf quilt! You could embroider the names of your favorite books on them. Would be a great hand-me-down for your children (the books would tell them a bit about you).

Could totally use this in a classroom! What a cute idea to use a book shelf for a doll house! You could even paint the backs of the shelf with different scenes to use for toy storage and play - like a stack of books painted on the back where the books go, a race track scene where the cars belong, etc.

seat organizer love this! Need to make 2 for our up coming road trip
