      DIY HELIUM BALLOONS What You Need: baking soda vinegar plastic bottle balloon funnel TO DO: Using funnel, pour vinegar into bottle Only fill about 1/3 of bottle. Using another (dry) funnel pour baking soda into balloon. Fill balloon approx 1/2 way. Cover the top of the bottle with balloon. Make sure you don’t let the baking soda spill into the bottle prematurely. When ready, lift your balloon and let the baking soda fall into the vinegar

      Blow up balloons without helium. Fill empty water bottle 1/3 full with vinegar. With a funnel, put some baking soda into the balloon. Connect the balloon to the bottle. Be sure there is no mixing until the balloon is securely on the bottle. Then, dump the baking soda in the balloon into the bottle....walah.. the gasses fill the balloon! Fun to do with kids for an experiement. vinegar plastic bottle balloon funnels (we used 2)
