Eastern Orthodoxy is sometimes referred to as the "Ancient Faith." The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It’s orthodox, but not Jewish. It’s catholic, but not Roman. Christian Saints were equally shared among white people & black people; Historical religious art in Eastern Europe & Mid-East Churches portrayed biblical figures with tanned or dark complexion; the Western Churches adopted lighter skin colour after the Renaissance.

She encouraged hospitality and love of one's neighbor, often in the most uncompromising of terms. She considered this to be the foundation of the Christian gospel, and she embodied it in her life. In 1941, with the German occupation of Yugoslavia, Bishop Nikolai Velimirovich, together with Patriarch Gabriel Dozhich, was arrested and sentenced to imprisonment in the infamous Dachau Prison Camp in Germany. He spent two years in Dachau, witnessing and suffering some of the cruelest torture of human beings the world has ever known.
