The Russian Santa Claus in Siberia (The eastern part of Russia situated in Asia). He’s known as Ded Moroz.-Merry Xmas from Universal Beauty So,does Santa look more Heathen or Christian? *sorry, couldnt help myself)*
The Russian Santa Claus in Siberia (The eastern part of Russia situated in Asia). He’s known as Ded Moroz. He is similar to the Santa in the U.S because he also "delivers" presents across the country.
Father Frost, Russia Epiphany (Day of Adoration, January 6th) when the Three Wise Kings brought presents to the baby Jesus in the stable. This is the day that Christmas is celebrated in Russia but the ones who bring the presents are Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) and his grand-daughter Snegurochka, the Snow Girl. Ded Moroz is perhaps the original Father Christmas, with his long white beard and long tunic.
The Russian Santa Claus in Siberia. He’s known as Ded Moroz. I found my blue Santa for this year!

Aethiopia. The inhabited world according to Herodotus. Libya (Africa) is imagined as extending no further south than the Horn of Africa, terminating in uninhabitable desert. All peoples inhabiting the southernmost fringes of the inhabitable world are known as Ethiopians (after their black skin). At the extreme south-east of the continent are the Macrobians, so called for their longevity.
Tehenou Culture (aka 'Ancient Libya') - Its people were ancestors of the modern Berber people. Berbers occupied the area for thousands of years before the beginning of human records in Ancient Egypt. More narrowly, Libya could also refer to the country immediately west of Egypt, i.e. Marmarica (Libya Inferior) and Cyrenaica (Libya Superior). The Libyan Sea (Mare Libycum) was part of the Mediterranean Sea, between Cyrene and Alexandria (Wikipedia).

The Pharisee and the Publican - James Tissot
