'Christer Strömholm: Les Amies de Place Blanche' Captures Transexuals Of Paris Red Light District In 1960s Although aesthetically the images embody the sexualized 60s femininity that makes "Mad Men" fans drool, their message is dramatically forward-thinking. The images celebrate the freedom to choose one's identity and the hope that softens the sacrifices we make to construct ourselves.

Victorian Photo Booth - People still did the same poses during the Victorian Era, except you know, without having to use the sepia effects in iPhoto. Also, today I learned that some Victorians did have emotions.
Smiling Victorians, I could go through a whole box of old photos in an antique store and never find one as sweet as this. Love it, truly rare!
Victorian "photo booth." Such a different side of people than we usually see from their stiff portraits. Awww. Sweet
Precious Victorian couple~ ive never EVER seen this cute, sweet and affectionate side of the Victorian era~ Love
