A rare art deco ruby and diamond fibula brooch, by Georges Fouquet, circa 1925. Of tapering annular form, the central row of calibré-cut rubies within borders of old brilliant and single-cut diamonds, with three central vertical accents of similarly cut stones and completed by a diamond and ruby bombé cluster, signed G. Fouquet and numbered, maker's marks for Georges Fouquet in two places, French assay marks, diameter 6.8cm.
