Fingerprint Birds - Taught this to 1st graders. We used watercolor pain to make the spots on the first day (each student made at least three paper strips of splotches). The second day we outlined them in sharpie and added the details to make the splotches into birds, mice, and pigs. If the students made more than three strips, they could choose an animal for the last strip.
Fingerprint tree with names would be great on a tee for kindergarten graduation...Great teacher idea...name each child's fingerprint, teacher's name on the tree. "Thanks for helping us grow" sign by the tree
Could pre-paint tree trunks and branches on large canvases. Then kids could add fingerprints and handprints for the leaves. Auction or raffle the finished pieces. Photograph them first to create prints for resale.
