Closet turned into reading nook (although it seems far-fetched to be in a house with excess closet space... but this would be rad)

I want this reading nook!! Great idea and looks super cozy :) Convert a deep closet into a hideaway space. If you don't need the closet in a home office or guest bedroom, turn it into a sitting area. Take off the doors and add built-in drawers across the bottom of the closet to create a bed-height bench and provide extra storage. Install good overhead lighting and shelves for books, then paint the interior and trim in a warm color. Throw pillows that invite family and friends to sit, read and relax finish off the space. jmeents

Small closet transformed into a cheerful reading nook, adding depth to the room along with lots of bookshelves and a bench seat. Shelves are painted to match trim, providing unity; contrasting seat cushion and light-colored pillows provide visual depth. Storage under seat....this would be in my dream house

Closet turned reading nook-- I would spend hours in here. Perfect for a spare bedroom turned study.

Cozy window nook-great for reading! I've seen the pins with closet reading nooks, which are great, but I just love reading in natural light. Maybe it's because it helps me stay awake :) but also it just puts me in a good mood.

I don't really care for this particular setup, but I love the idea of making the closet, space for a desk.

Little nooks in a big room for privacy while still being with family. Thinking homework time, etc.

Reading nook at l’Hotel du Petit Moulin. This wouldn't be that difficult with a pre-existing nook and some fancy molding.
