4. In Act 2 we learn that Krogstad is sympathetic in a way because for this whole time he has kept Nora's secret. At any point he could have released the scandal to Torvald or a newspaper and made some sort of profit out of it. Instead he kept her secret under lock and key until Nora's action threatened the loss of Krogstad's job. This shows that he might be putting on the "tough guy act" when in reality he could be a nice and caring man.
really like this old lock--maybe could make something similar with a spray painted mask and foam board hmmmmmmm.....
