The best whoopie pies. However, I make my filling the following way: In a small saucepan cook 5 Tbsp flour and 1 cup of milk stir to prevent lumping until a thick paste, cool it and then whip with electric mixer and add 3/4 cup softened butter, 1 cup sugar and 1 teas of vanilla. Beat until very fluffy.
