To be fair, I consider everything written by JD Salinger to be worth reading. Multiple times.

Franny and Zooey. september 2014. hmmm... just read it all in a day. i think it needs to marinate a bit but i liked it. salinger certainly has a distinct tone. and i do like it. apparently all his short stories are about this glass family so i think it would be interesting to read more of them.

Dubliners by James Joyce | 16 Little Books To Read On Long Journeys

23 books you should have read in high school ..... Definitely guiltily of not reading some of these hahaha!

In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines, lived twelve little girls in two straight lines.

Listen, don't hate me because I can't remember some person immediately. Especially when they look like everybody else, and talk and dress and act like everybody else.. Franny made her voice stop. It sounded to her caviling and bitchy, and she felt a wave of self-hatred that, quite literally, made her forehead begin to perspire again

"God damn it," he said, "there are nice things in the world – and I mean nice things. We're all such morons to get so sidetracked. Always, always, always referring every goddam thing that happens right back to our lousy little egos."

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D.Salinger
