I think it is important to pin because the way the newspaper has the ability to put a certain point of view in our society's mind. The killing of Osama Bin Laden changed our culture in such a drastic way, by giving us hope for peace, and newspapers have helped greatly in that.
In 1963 19 year old Frank Sinatra Jr was kidnapped. He was released two days later after Frank Sr paid a ransom. In 1998 Frank Jr won a court order barring the 3 men responsible from earning a million dollars from Colombia pictures for their help in making a film.
