I love this vertical garden idea! "The greenest corner of Atlanta opened three new gardens on May 1: the Edible Garden, the Canopy Walk and the Cascades Garden. Always ahead of the curve when it comes to design and programming, the Atlanta Botanical Garden keeps visitors returning again and again. DIY herb gardens. Cut the soda bottle or any plastic bottle with a cover. Turn upside down; attach to board. I'm thinking of leaving the cover to the bottle on; punch in a few holes to drain excess water, but not have the soil drain out also.

I think this would make for nifty "fencing" on the side of a garden, maybe for shading purposes on things not wanting direct sun... OP: Easy Vertical Wall Garden. A great patio divider.

I like this idea but not so much having it against a window, maybe more to frame the window by putting it on either side of it. Cute idea to hang little pots on the lattice.
