Dollar store photo albums... Turn them into flashcard fun! Easy to write and wipe, just insert what you are working on. You could even just insert white paper and have them work on writing sight words, so many ways to use them! This would make my organization so much easier. I have a couple of DOZEN flash card sets that are all used regularly.

GREAT idea for students with Autism or just for those who struggle to remember classroom routines!

Use a tap-it light to show think alouds during your read alouds. Tap the light "on" when you stop reading and discuss what the text makes you think. Helps students to "see" the difference between your reading and your thinking. Brilliant!
