My favorite rosé, year in, year out.
Wow. This was a wine for the intelligentsia. Delicious fruit, flint, smokiness, and a ton of minerality. At $35, it might seem steep, but this is a lesson in what wine can do.
A staff pick by our very own Kristen Murphy, this Riesling is bright and precise. Sweetness with a hint of acidity. Try this unique Riesling today!
Such a delicious wine and so worth the $60 price. Almost like a fantasy blend between Nebbiolo and Sangiovese (although it's really Sangiovese & Malvasia Nera). Very young now, but I'd love to see this evolve in 5-10 years.
Probably one of the most clear and brilliant Champagnes that I have ever had. I love that it's 80 Pinot Noir and 20 Chard. Yum!
This ups the nerdiness of my German wine section to an 11. Texture - weight - minerality - orange zest - peach - salinity.
Crozes-Hermitage is the largest Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée in the northern Rhône Valley of France. Most of the wines produced here are red and are composed primarily of Syrah but there is a small amount of blending with Roussanne and Marsanne. There are some white wines produced from these grapes as well. The climate is continental with cold, wet winters marked by winds that last into spring.
