Love this idea! Peaks, Pits, Praises and Prayers Journal. 1. Peaks of the Day: The highlights. The good moments. Something overall positive that happened during the day. 2. Pit of the Day: The low point of the day. But, rather than just complaining about it, a way that looking back at it can be positive or a blessing in disguise. 3. Praise: Simply praising God for specific things that happened 4. Prayers: Prayer requests that may have arose from the new day
As servants of God, we are called to a different standard. We are called to embrace God’s sovereignty even in less than ideal circumstances. To become light in a world that desperately needs to see Jesus. To lay down our lives, so that our Savior’s name might be lifted high.
Colossians 3:23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, Colossians 4:2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Agrainofmustardseed.com
Great post on scripture journals. I write in my journal insights as I read my scriptures, but I never thought about topics in my journal, and printing out conference talks to glue in. I love her idea to give each of her children one of her journals for an inheritance. Beautiful idea. I have at least 3 unpublished blog posts about gospel topics that are important to me. Love this!!!!!
