Spell out your child's name this ay instead of with papier-mâché blocks. Cute to hang on the wall.

I would use these flowers on the top of a pen and use it in a centerpiece...

Good crochet project...easy to do, easy to take along with you, easy to pick up additional yarn whenever you want, or to use up leftover yarn...

The other day I was thinking I should learn to make my own fabric flowers, rather then spending a lot of $$ on buying them. This tutorial from Craftiness is not Optional should do the trick.

Cute little flowers

Pretty fringe-cut rolled felt flower. Idea - use crepe or plain paper to make similar paper flower! :)

DIY Fabric flower...really easy to make

1. Cut out 10 scalloped circles from a book (or a newspaper, scrapbook paper, magazine...) 2. Gather all the circles and use a 1/16" punch to make a hole in the center. 3. Attach a brad (the color doesn't matter because you won't be seeing it in the end result) 4. Layer by layer, scrunch up each circle 5. Now just fluff out the flower and voila!

I could do this! Awesome! Ooohh, how about little letters for names in family too?? Say a wreath like?
