Your favorite scary franchise begins here! Woodsboro: Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), bummed by the killing of her mother, receives a call from Ghostface. While Deputy Dewey and reporter Gale investigate (David Arquette and Courteney Cox), friends talk about horror movie tropes and how to avoid them. Directed by Wes Craven (invented a third of said tropes). Written by Kevin Williamson (invented "Dawson Casting" - see TV Tropes).

Scream: I went through an obsession phase with the Scream movies in high school. I guess it's still lingering since I insisted on seeing Scream 4 for my birthday this year.

What's your favorite scary movie?? ♥ Scary movies don't make serial killers... Scary movies make serial killers more interesting ♥

I'm watching Scream. It's my first time (blush).

Scream, Scream 2, Scream 3 & Scream 4 The first is probably the best, if only for the originality aspect, but all of them are worth watching, especially in order.
