    Fish in the Sea Counting Game-Math Center idea. I would do numbers 10-21 and start with simple counting/recognition; eventually turn it to an adding and/or subtraction game with dice. Could also do single dice and grab bag element where kids draw sea animal cards that say things like "add one" or "double number", etc.

    This is a math activity with gross motor, and some writing on a vertical surface which is great for beginning writers because it forces the correct wrist position and strengthens the correct muscles in the hand and arm.

    Here's a set of clothespin counting cards with a penguin theme. Count the snowballs and clip the correct number.
