    Sock bubbles Start by cutting the bottom of water bottle off. Next slide the sock over the bottom of the bottle. We used colorful duct tape to secure our sock, but you could use a rubber band as well. Pour some dish soap into shallow container with a little bit of water and gently mix. Dip the sock covered bubble blower into the solution and gently blow. We decided to add some color to the bubble snakes with food coloring. The kids dropped the food coloring onto the sock covered end.

Handmade Boats - cute kid's project, or make cute decor for a beach house (or a beachy feel)! Directions for origami boats to match your sailboats/rafts, too! Could jazz this up even more with candles, esp. if it's light enough for these babies to float in a whole ocean scene!
