DIY probiotic deodorant, Homemade Probiotic Deodorant -1 tbsp. cocoa butter -1 tbsp. coconut oil -1 tbsp. shea butter -1 tbsp. beeswax -2 1/2 tbsp. arrowroot powder -1 tbsp. baking soda -1/4 tsp. vitamin E oil (as a preservative) -15 drops essential oil of your choice -2 or 3 capsules powdered probiotics also, shampoo/conditioner: I have been using homemade deodorant (coconut oil, baking soda, arrowroot powder) for many months now and love it. I will never buy deodorant again, but I may give your recipe a try. Also, like the previous poster mentioned, I don't use commercially made shampoo or conditioner. I dissolve 1T baking soda in 1 cup of water, and 'wash' my hair with that no more than every other day. My 'conditioner' is 1T apple cider vinegar in 1 cup water, and I use it once for every three times using the soda. It has been almost 3 months, and my hair is shinier and has more body than it ever has. It doesn't ever appear greasy, either. I am still amazed at how well this has worked for me.

Recipes for homemade deodorant. Why is this important? Because anti-perspirants contain aluminum and they are believed to be one of the biggest causes of Alzheimers. No proof, but why take chances. I trashed my club aluminum because I didn't want anyone else to take a chance, especially after my mother came down with and she had used those pots for 30 years.

Homemade deodorant, that lasts all day. Very simular to the one I made today. I will keep this recipe around too.

Homemade all natural deodorant. Only three ingredients. My husband and I (Amy) have been using this for MONTHS. Just getting ready to make my second batch. It lasts forever and works fabulously. My husband prefers it to store bought deodorant, and he is very very picky! (It's four ingredients if you choose to add essential oils. We prefer unscented.)

homemade deodorant #2 ... worth a try since the store stuff doesn't work. ... Natural Homemade Deodorant 3 Tbl. Shea Butter 3 Tbl. Baking Soda 2 Tbl. Arrowroot Powder 2 Tbl. Cocoa Butter 1 Tbl. Coconut Oil 2 Vitamin E Oil Capsules (poke with a pin & squeeze out the oil) Essential Oil (I used lavender; 30+ drops, I think. Use plenty! The smell will fade as the mixture cools.)

Natural Deodorant! Rather than using a deodorant with aluminum, this is made with coconut oil (SO good for you), baking soda (to absorb odor), arrowroot powder ( I think to absorb liquid), and essential oils of your choice. I used lavender (great for healing of skin) and Lemon (antibacterial). Smells great, too! Let's see how it works! So far, so good!
