Table runner for St. Patrick's Day

A St. Patrick's Day table runner made using the Quiltcut 2! The ability to layer all my scraps before cutting made it SO easy!!!

Happy St. Patrick Day...By:Sue Smedley

These are shamrock shaped rice krispy treats.   The trick to getting them green, and you probably already know this, is to mix your food coloring in the stirred up marshmallows, right before adding in the cereal.  I found the thinner you could get them, the easier they are to punch out with the cookie cutter.  I sandwiched two of them between a sucker stick, tied a cute ribbon around them, and stuck them in this adorable pot I found at Michael's.

My kids would name me Mom of the Year if I let them have Lucky Charms for breakfast on St. Patrick's Day. Back to boring ol' healthy stuff on March 18, though.

Every St. Patrick's Eve, the kiddos make a Leprechaun Trap. We use a piece of my jewelry as 'bait.' In the morning, the trap has been tripped and there inside the box is my jewelry and chocolate coins or gold nugget bubble gum. It's a fun tradition!

st patricks day crafts. Did this with a girl I babysit! I also drew a black pot and we used fingerprints in yellow for "gold" and did all the colors of the rainbow with fingerprints too! Came out super cute!

Here is a cute example of a pattern that you could use to create an extra large leprechaun centerpiece for a St. Patrick's Day bulletin board display.
