Hardwood Floor cleaning DIY Hard wood floors 1 to 2 cups of white vinegar, 1/2 cup lemon juice in a gallon of warm water, mop as normal. To shine floors mix olive oil & lemon juice & buff floors to a shine.

Dirt Devil Steamer- This is the best gift ever. I use it on my hard wood floors, vinyl flooring and ceramic tiles. It cleans great! Harder to push on the wood floors but it does an awesome job of cleaning and it comes with 2 washable pads.

I've heard this works really well! How To Clean Dirty Blinds the EASY Way : mix equal parts white vinegar with warm water; slip a sock on your hand, dip in mixture and wipe down blinds... so easy!

How to Clean Pillows. Good to know! I do this every other month, but I also wash my pillows on the hottest setting with a cup of bleach. Always does the trick. This way, you don't have to do the "smell" check! I also like my pillows to smell fresh, so I add fabric softener to the washer and dry with a sheet. Also helps get rid of static in your hair on those dry winter months!

For serious grout cleaning: Combine 1/2-cup baking soda, 1/4-cup borax and hot water to form a thin paste. Pour over the tile, scrub and rinse. If it leaves a residue on the grout after rinsing, dip a clean cloth in white vinegar and wipe the tile down again. It even removed a few stains in the grout that had been there for a while.
