Our kind of travel, taking it slow to enjoy the moment. Another pinner said: "Glacier National Park, Hiking to the top to read a good book."

“We cast a shadow on something wherever we stand, and it is no good moving from place to place to save things; because the shadow always follows. Choose a place where you won't do harm - yes, choose a place where you won't do very much harm, and stand in it for all you are worth, facing the sunshine.” ~ E.M. Forster

The Journey - Getting this shot was a definite highlight of the summer. Iceberg Lake is one of the most stunning locations in the Many Glacier area--- beautiful alpine meadows, dump truck sized icebergs floating in the lake, and a sheer mountain cirque crowning the entire scene. This beauty draws hordes of people there each summer day, but almost no one sticks around for sunset. -- Michael Bollino

Glacier National Park, Montana ..... in November all the bald eagles migrate down from Canada on their winters journey south. They stop to feast on the salmon in MacDonald creek and Lake.

I have pinned this before - but I always smile when I see the pin come back around! This is truly one of the most amazing spots in the United States, where the waters traveling different directions come together at the Continental Divide, Glacier National Park, Montana.

Montana. I want to go see this place one day. Please check out my website thanks. www.photopix.co.nz
