Giada De Laurentiis’ Parsley-Lemon Pesto - made and very nice and fresh. used walnuts instead of pine nuts and nutritional yeast instead of parm. followed this loosely combined with a pesto recipe from my greens cookbook
Dirty Martini Dip - 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened, 5.75 oz. jar of Green Olives with Pimento, chopped, 1/3 to 1/2 can (4 oz) chopped jalapeño, 2 Cloves Garlic, minced, 1/2 tsp. dried Minced Onions, 1/2 tsp. dried Chives, Black Pepper to taste, Salt to taste (optional). Combine all ingredients, refrigerate for at least one hour. Serve with Pretzel Rods.
