♥ this fantastic installation work by American artist Anne Lindberg. Thousands and thousands of strands of thread, anchored from one wall to another, that seem to glow from within. This work is part of a group show, titled Placemakers, currently on at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Nebraska from January 13 – March 31, 2012.
Theo Prins is a freelance concept artist out of Washington State. What I love about his work is his unabashed use of pastels (a color choice not usually associated with concept art) and his beautiful compositions of otherworldly shipyards, sparse landscapes, and flying boats. You can view more of his work at his website and blog, though I initially found him through deviant art.
