RobertMontgomery2 “The People You Love Become Ghosts Inside of You and Like This You Keep Them Alive”, is Robert Montgomery’s first major work using solar power and LED. It shows his signature laconic and melancholic use of text as seen in his outdoor Words in the City at Night series. The light of the sun is recycled to power the lights that illuminate the text, as a physical metaphor for the way we keep the spirit of those we love alive inside our hearts after they have gone from us.

Saving people is a really hard task - it won't always work. But what you can do is love them, make them feel special and let them know there's someone who cares about them and that their life is worth living.

Robert Montgomery is a London-based artist, or maybe a poet, who hijacks billboards, empty ad spaces on the streets and backlit metro lights with his words of wisdoms. Instead of illustrations, he uses typography to get his message across, which is pretty cool because people actually would stop and read.

He came to me with many faces.... I did not know what he was, or it rather, but I was very frightened of its countenance

This is what I think of every time someone complains about my Anderson. I love life in A-town!

sometimes people are beautiful. not in looks, not in what they say. just in what they are.
