We got to have it better esp. for Our Children and Future Generations. One learn how the medical industry is 'masters'. It's important we get legislatively involve with everything as black people as others people do theirs. --> http://www.stateoftheblackparent.blogspot.com/2013/12/medical-outrage.html

Josephine Baker or the “Bronze Venus”, the “Black Pearl”, and even the “Créole Goddess” she was the first African American female to star in a major motion picture and to become a world-famous entertainer. Contributed to the Civil Rights Movement in the United States (she was offered the unofficial leadership by Coretta Scott King in 1968 following MLK's assassination), and assisting the WWII French Resistance (first American-born woman to receive the French military honor, the Croix de guerre).

Joséphine Baker | Josephine Baker 02
Jospehine Baker was born in St. Louis, Mo. She was the first African American female to star in a major motion picture, to integrate an American concert hall, to become a world-famous entertainer, and the first American-born woman to receive the French military honor, the Croix de guerre. She was given the opportunity to be the unofficial leader of the Civil Rights movement by Corretta Scott King after the passing of Dr. MLK, Jr. but turned the position down.
Josephine Baker was a singer, dancer, spy, activist, paragon of beauty, and member of social circles that included luminaries like Langston Hughes, Pablo Picasso, and Ernest Hemingway. Not bad, eh? She wowed audiences in her adopted France, worked for the resistance in the WWII, and returned back to the States to integrate concert halls and fight in the civil rights movement. If you think she sounds like a busy lady, wait until you hear about her 12 kids! ...simply amazing.
Josephine Baker. Wouldn't mind the outfit as long as it wasn't real fur.
