    DIY Crackle Paint Technique: 1) Paint base coat & allow to dry thoroughly. 2) Paint Elmer's glue on top of base coat. (A thicker coat results in larger cracks; apply a thinner coat for fine cracks.) 3) While glue is still tacky, brush on top coat & watch crackle appear. 4) Dry completely.
