Homemade makeup remover wipes. I'm totally going to try these. My results - ok cutting the roll of paper towels in half was a challenge & didn't look very pretty. I used viva towels & came out awesome! I did add tea tree oil to mine (5 drops) because of our humidity in Houston. Next time I am going to use just 1 Tbsp of the coconut oil. 4 c warm water, 1-2 Tbsp Coconut Oil. (1-2 squirts of baby wash or your your favorite face wash if you want, but it’s not necessary), Tea Tree Oil may be added to inhibit mold growth if this becomes an issue in your climate. Cut a roll of paper towels in 1/2, place in a container & soak in mixture.
Coconut Oil Baby Wipes or Make-up Wipes 4 cups warm water (DISTILLED water will inhibit the growth of mold), 1-2 tablespoons Coconut Oil, and 1-2 squirts of baby wash/ or your favorite face wash. If you live in a humid climate mold can be a problem, add some tea tree oil to prevent mold.
need to try this next....cut a roll of paper towels in half, place in container and soak with 4 cups warm water and desired mixture (including coconut oil). For make up remover wipes just add the coconut oil (& a squirt of your favorite face wash if you want, but it's not necessary) For cleaning wipes add a few drops of your favorite concentrated cleaner.
Homemade Makeup Remover: Bounty or Viva Roll of paper towel (cut in half), 1-2 T coconut oil or baby oil, 1 T baby wash, 2 cups warm water - Stir mixture. Place paper towels into container. Pour mixture over paper towels, seal tightly with cover, and let stand for 30 minutes before using. –Container large enough to hold half a roll of paper towel and that can be sealed
