A bright white bathroom, clawfoot tub and rustic details. Love.

Smart! These bathroom mirrors slide open, barn door-style, to reveal a recessed medicine chest. Take that animal print thing out, and this is my dream bathroom! #Artsandcrafts

The airy master bedroom and supersized bathroom make up one large room separated by glass-paneled carriage doors. The white tub and polished nickel tub filler are from Waterworks. The linen rug by the bathtub is from Elizabeth Eakins in South Norwalk. Nickel sconces from Hudson Valley Lighting frame the bed.

A collection of old group photos — from summer-camp kids to sports teams — hangs in this beach house's only bathroom.

The framed antique photos are expensive and easily ruined in a bathroom. Can be easily duplicated with any grouping of B&W prints in black frames selected to fit the space. The very long one at the top anchors the arrangement.

I sincerely hope those are not actual , original , antique photographs being ruined in this bathroom. Hopefully no one would ever actually hang antique photographs in a bathroom so they could be ruined by humidity and moisture !

  • Jan Marcus

Apparently from the comment in the magazine they are originals. As long as you just make full size copies and keep the originals safe, I like the idea.

Oh my god. They've ruined antiques ! I try not to hate decorators , but truly , this makes it difficult not to. No one Thinks about what they are doing to things , it is about what is eye catching or fashionable in the moment. I have been doing genealogy for over twenty years and know just how precious an old photograph truly is . Clearly these people do not. Just a tragic waste.
