Arabesque black cement tiles, unusual sphere pendant, loft windows, bistro chairs and bud vase. love!

Great idea to hang the dustpan. I hate to set it on anything cause I think of it as dirty, but I hate digging it out from the floor next to the washer also. Sadly, I have no broom closet.

Painted wood floor: fill in any large gouges or scrapes, and sand the entire floor lightly. you can use nearly any paint on the floor, but if you're concerned about it rubbing off with traffic, talk to the people in the paint store/department. you can also get clear acrylic sealer to paint over the floor once it's dried and once cured, it'll protect the paint job.

how to sand hardwood floors...MY VERDICT...I've done this & sanding the floors is not hard at all!! The worst part by far is the prep work b/c you have to move all your furniture somewhere which isn't easy to do. I should add that when you get to staining your floors, it is much easier to stain with a light stain than dark b/c any uneven application is very noticeable with dark stain

DIY magnetic vertical terrariums for tiny plants. Suddenly I wish I had a magnetic fridge! I can easily imagine this with succulents instead of air plants. Ooh! Imagine it attached to your front door (if yours, like mine, is metal)! I can see it now.

I love the window above the sink with a mirror.... Must do this..
